Billy Joel - Alternative Data After Merges

I personally have NO idea - his Wklipedia page says "William Martin Joel was born in the Bronx on May 9, 1949"

I can't find any vital records giving his exact birthplace, but his personal biography -- https://www.billyjoel.com/timeline/ -- says The Bronx. I think people just assume he was born in Long Island because he was raised in Levittown.

For a living person, an official biography they've approved is adequate in my book.

I also removed the "Joseph" from his middle name, since I can't find that anywhere. Could've been a confirmation name during his Catholic period, I suppose...or it could be a simple error. :)

Yes, we had "Joseph Martin" in the field before, which is why I removed the "Joseph," them cited and locked the field to just "Martin."

According to Google, we were the source of that bad information. Good reminder for us all to stay on our toes!

(My source for "Martin" was his official biography; I didn't want to trust Wikipedia in this case.)

I know nothing about him, just sending the alert because he appeared in my Followed By merge conflicts. I think I once referenced him in a Discussion , so became a follower. Please update, I'm unfollowing.
