Gose Van Buren appears in the Dutch Reformed Church in Kinderhook NY records of baptism as Gosen Van Buren, son of Pieter Van Buuren and Catharina Quakkenbos, baptized 7/22/1781 (http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~dutchapples/vbchb...). I believe he also appears in a marriage record as Gozen Van Buren who married Cornelia Bronk on 8/16/1806, again at the Dutch Reformed Church in Kinderhook, NY (http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~dutchapples/vbmar...). In the baptism records of the Dutch Reformed Church in Kinderhook, there is a Maria, born in 1806 to Goze G Van Buren and Catherine Bronk. Later on in the same records, there are listings for three children, born to James J Van Buren and Cornelia Bronk; Lydia Ann in 1809, Catherine in 1811, and Jane in 1814 (http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~dutchapples/vbchb...). My suspicion is that all of these records refer to the same family. The 1810 Federal Census found a James Van Buren living in Kinderhook with 2 females under 9 and one 16-26, presumably his wife Catherine/Cornelia and his daughters Maria and Lydia Ann (http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~dutchapples/vb181...). I'm not sure what to make of the name Catherine, but I have only seen it in the baptism for Maria and on here. I am going to try to see if I can either find a copy of the actual record or see it myself to see if there was a mistake transcribing the name.
