I am trying to find my heritage on the Moots side of the family. My Great Grandfather Richard Moots son of Charles Moots 1831-1900 and Elizabeth (Summers) Moots 1833-1879. I was always told we were related to the 3 brothers Charles, George and Conrad Moots that helped settle the Bellefontaine area. These were the sons of John Moots 1739-1803. I've tried so hard to make the connection and I just can't find it. If anyone has any information concerning Richard or Charles or any of their direct decendants I would really appreciate the help.
