Harry Ludwig was my great-grandfather. He came from Romania. He died in 1931 leaving his wife Rebecca Ludwig a widow (Born in 1876) until her death in 1969. I have never been able to establish what Rebecca's maiden name was. Nor can I find a decent marriage record from 1895.
Both lived in Philadelphia and are in the 1900 census. Before then, there is nothing about them or their first two children.
