Peter Machie - Mackay's

I guess that is up for debate. When I was asking my aunt about any Scottish connections in our family, she offered Peter Machie up as our link to the Mackay line in Scotland. There is some evidence (I've put links on his profile page) that suggest that he was German, however. If you have more conclusive information, please share.

Then alot of family would say that were are Irish, but with so many of them from the earliear census saying their Orgin was German, I tend to go more with that. I was just kinda hoping that just maybe you may have a little bit of info that proved the Orgin of our family ;).
