The dates of the children do not match up. John Brown of New Haven was born in 1640ish and married Mary Walker about 1660 and divorced in or before 1675 when the court allowed her to remarry. The children being attributed to her and John Brown do not work with the John Brown of New Haven, ex-husband of Mary Walker.

More research is needed .
