Norberg, Anna Wilhilmina, Funeral services for Mrs. A. Severin Norberg were conducted from the Spring Lake Lutheran Church on Monday, Feb. 19 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Ronald Hackmann officiating. Orley Eastlund sang "Beyond the Sunset" and "God Be With You Til We Meet Again." Mrs. Arthur Youngquist was the organist. The pallbearers were Earl Nelson, Carl Falk, Paul Trulson, Wendell Erickson, Wendell Hegg, and Harry Ledin. Internment was made in the Isanti Union Cemetery. Anna Wilhilmina Norberg was born July 21, 1910 in Isanti County, Minn., the daughter of Andrew and Annie Oman. She attended school in Pine Lake and grew to womanhood in that community. On Nov. 25, 1935 she was united in marriage to Andrew Severin Norberg, and to this union seven children were born. Mrs. Norberg passed away at the Rush City Hospital on Feb. 16, at the age of 57 following a lingering illness. She has been a resident at the Green Acres Rest Home in North Branch for the past 3 1/2 years. [printing is not clear] her husband, Severin, Cambridge; seven children, Mrs. Edward Polzin (Louise), Duluth, Minn., Martin, Coon Rapids, Mrs. Marvin Anderson (LaVonne), Cambridge, S/Sgt Kenneth Norberg, Albany, Ga., Mrs. Wayne Corrier (Gladys), Minneapolis, Wallace Lee, Minneapolis, and William James, Isanti; also 14 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren; three sister, Mrs. Alice Anderson, Rt. 2, Harris, Mrs. Arlene Sjostedt, Isanti, and Mrs. Eunice Johnson, Center City; three brothers, Allen Oman, Bethel, Aldon and Orrin Oman, both of Circle Pines, Minn.; other relatives and friends.
