Hi Andi Bowe
Have you reviewed the notes and sources within the profile?
I don't have any more knowledge but what's in those notes, and the profile is a "perhaps the son of ..."
So I see two options for you.
1. Further research
2. Disconnect from those parents until firmer data is available or submitted
I can certainly help with option 2 from a disconnect & placeholder "unknown" parents. Just let me know if that's what you'd like ... And it's probably also a good idea to use "contact manager" to let managers know this is your suggestion.
I noticed an discrepancy between your original entry for Thomas "the armorer" Stevens, of London (with Mary Bullock for wife) so did an UN merge.
If agreed, maybe we can fill in more details on "this" Thomas Stevens ("the armorer")
Hasn't there been more research since Savage? He wrote:

Thomas Stevens of Sudbury, may be the youth in the "Abigail", from London, 1635, aged 12, perhaps son of Thomas of London, the armorer, may have gone home and come again, with Cyprian, and was a freeman 1665. Was the town clerk for 15 years. Barry thinks he was first at Charlestown, a blacksmith, and late in life lived at Stow, but at Sudbury had been offered land to keep a school.
Andi Bowe I've disconnected Thomas the armorer Stevens & his wife Mary Bullock as parents of Thomas Stevens of Sudbury & Stowe.
I hope to see the source data and family notes develop on Geni.
