"David Forsyth II is the 5th child of LT. David Forsyth (b. 1735, Ireland; d.1808, Floyd's Fork, KY, Revolutionary War) and Margaret McGibbon Forsyth (of Ireland). He was born 12/15/1783 and died in 1868. He married (1) Mary Ann Hulett and (2) Cassandra Pritchard"

"Birth: 1740, Ireland
Death: Jan., 1808
Louisville
Jefferson County
Kentucky, USA

All dates taken from the book History of the Forsyth Family dated 1920 by Jennie Forsyth Jeffries. On page 104, she states, "It is believed that the dust of his father lies in a grave near by." meaning near the grave of James Forsyth, his son."
