Thanks to Robert Rafael for the 1863 marriage certificate.

1. The marriage in Amsterdam, 1863, proves that Isaac Veerjong was the son of Schoontje Veerjong. Her husband Abraham Moscou was a witness.

2. The marriage to Matilda Betje Ditenheim proves that it was this Isaac Veerjong who moved to London, as his wife lived and died there; both are shown on the census returns.

3. It is a coincidence that there was an Izaak Veerjong born 5 February 1840 who had a sister Esther born 9 January 1843, children of Mozes Jonas Veerjong. Perhaps they are relatives of Isaac Fairman and his sister Esther.

4. No birth records could be found for Isaac Veerjong Fairman and his sister Esther so they were either not registered (illegal, unlikely) or they were registered under another surname.

5. The marriage certificate for the second marriage of Isaac Fairman in London might reveal the name of his father, if he knew who he was.
