Should be called R-M269.

R-M269 is just about the commonest haplogroup there is. It's all over western Europe, and especially prevalent in Scotland, Wales, and (especially) Ireland.

There are also a large number of subgroups, which require more extensive (and exPensive) testing to determine.

I am R-M269 as well

correct maven further testing to 111 markers put me in haplogroup R-CTS1751 and a descendant of the Clan MacNicol chiefs of Scotland.
