What we know about her is her marriage, the property settlement, and the births of children. These records exist. Period. We can only guess her age since she had babies in the 1690s. I speculate that she was a member of the Dissoway family of Staten Island who was a young Doty (various spellings) widow, but I am just deducing. Why was she "formerly of Somerset Co." ?Huge question is why Mark Dossoway (Jr. or Sr. ?) was acting for her. I have been spending a good bit of time trying to figure out the primary data, but have not found her otherwise. I continue to look. I am a descendent of the first wife via both Nicholas Jr. and Elizabeth Compton.
I have been rolling the rocks over in New England and have not found him there before New Jersey. I can't find him in England either. Where I find a Nicholas Mundy baptism in parish records, I also find a death. They didn't go adventuring.
See my Findagrave.com post for Nicholas Mundy. Note that there are two and only mine has an essay.
