Martha Patsy McCrary Moses was NOT married to Moses Tunner. I found that information in Fayette County Georgia and I told the people there this was not correct. Fact 1 - some one wrote that on an Index card it is not on the marriage record. 2 Martha's oldest daughter was named Amanda in the sixty Census we found the Moses Turner family and they had a 3 year old daughter named Amanda but you did not find Leander who would have been about 15 years old and you did not find Amanda who would have been Married so the two Moses children were not there. Leander was in Texas living with his uncle Jeptia V. May. Fact 3 - the most important fact I now have a Texas Record found in the General Land Office in Austin records dated 1855 which states that Amanda and Leander Moses were the only living heirs of David Moses.Texas soldier. My husband searched every Church cemetery in that area and cemetery books for that area and never found her grave. Also you never find
Martha , Amanda and Leander Moses listed in any census after the 1830 census where they are living with David Moses. I can not prove this but I believe that the whole family started for Texas and I think Martha passed away in Arkansas I have found records where David and the cousins. in Arkansas came on to San Augustine Texas with David and he states David was a signal man when he died this cousin was Morris May he was administrator of David's estate.
In closing I know if she was still alive she would have been listed as one of the legal heirs. My thoughts are that after Martha died Amanda was sent back to Georgia to live with possibly Nancy Moses David's sister Leander remained in Taxes with David's half brother. Jepita May. I have copies of all my records I have found.

Have any of Amanda's or Leander's descendants taken a DNA test? I am very curious to see if they match up the the Bartley McCrary line?
I have dozens of DNA links up the McCrary and the Moses lines, also thru children with Moses Turner. My David Moses was born about the same time as yours in the same area, mine died about 1949, I feel the 2 Davids are 1st or 2nd cousins, I have not found out any proof as yet.
