Attached to a husband in error that I cannot remove

I received no request to merge profiles, and yet somehow my OWN profile has been merged with another person. I have never been married and have no children, and yet now I have a husband, children and step-children.

I have attempted to undo the merge and remove the erroneous relationship but the option to remove is actually grayed out. Why is it I cannot remove a husband from my OWN profile??

The person with whom I was merged has NO similar details at all - different name, different birth date, different parents. I really don't understand how this can happen.

I need help before this situation gets out of hand.
