Adding the Assemblies of God on to the list of Missionary branches in Africa.

Yaay Mark :-) I see you already collaborate on that project, so you can already add, and your info would be really useful. I didn't initiate this project - so let's get Private User here to come and chat about how you go about doing it.

This morning, out of curiosity, I was reviewing the African Missionaries Project and looked up Robert Dr. Robert Moffat and David Dr. David Livingstone To my surprise, when I clicked on Robert Moffat, Geni told me I was connected to him. I said, "Yeah, right.". So I clicked on the show relatives tab, sure enough I was related to Robert Moffat through my mother's family line.

Then out of curiosity I pulled up David Livingstone and there again I was related; but this time it was through my father's family line.

What are the odds?????

Furthermore, to complete the circle, my father, mother, and myself answered God's call to be missionaries and what country did we first step foot on after sailing 21 days non-stop? You got it - South Africa.

I am still astounded at the "coincidences". May I add the fact that I am writing this post from Uganda, where my wife and are missionaries.

Amazing stuff Mark - the magic of GENi!!! Please do add anything that you find is missing from the project - as I said in our PM preceding this discussion it is fantastic to have someone knowledgable join the project - especially when they are willing to add and enhance!!

Hello fellow contributors. It's been a while since I've visited this site; but, I'm back. I spent the last year in Uganda and finally returned to the US a couple of weeks ago. Now, I am ready to continue where I left off. My only problem is...I don't remember how to enter certain data. So, if I make mistakes, please feel free to correct and instruct me.
