There are multiple spellings / misspellings of
Mere Te Uia,
Mere Te Huia,
Mere Te Wia,
and sometimes the Mere is replaced with Mereana, or with the anglicized Mary.

The 3 persons shown here as married to Abraham Bennett White should all be one and the same.

Where did you source this photograph from? Are you sure that it's her? I have been in discussion with the possibility of this woman being a relative but she's known under a different name and I'm also being shown the original later this week. Info would be great thanks!

Kia Ora, where are the sources for the information in this profile? I agree with Terry Bowden that Mere is the daughter of Tikitu. Te Rangitakina is the father of Te Ringaono.
