Geni member Private was kind enough to share this information with profile managers. I am copying it to a discussion for future researchers.

I am the 5th great granddaughter of George All Sizemore through his son George Golden Hawk Sizemore and Sallie Anderson. I don't actually need help with my research on this family. I can however tell you that there is no known parents for George All Sizemore. There is no paper documentation for parents, no wills, no court records, no census, nothing. So, if anyone has Edward Old Ned and Rachel Jackson Sizemore as his parents that is errorneous. There is nothing to show he was married nor any paperwork that would be considered primary source or citation to connect him with any children whatsoever.

I also have a genealogy group here on facebook I don't know but I think I admitted you to it check out it will be informative to you. Also, might want to get involved with Magoffin County Genealogical Group too they also have alot of Sizemore family memebers.

There is a Sizemore Surname DNA project on Family Tree DNA that shows that these Sizemore's are Native American and that there is a group of them who are closely related but because there is no progenitor information that can be conclusively documented for any of them we cannot determine with any certainty what their relationship is to one another at this time. So, anytime someone has Edward Old Ned Sizemore and Rachel Jackson as parents it is wrong for any of the men as there are no records other than the ECA's which have there own problems of genealogical errors, misunderstandings, heresay etc...no wills, death, birth, marriage or otherwise primary source citations are found to link Edward and Rachel to any children let alone to one another. Plus the fact that there is more than one Edward not only alive at the time we cannot follow him with a paper trail with any certainty, and the fact that there were numerous Edward's born after caused much confusion on the genealogical descendancy.

Those who believe that the Martha Sizemore and William Sizemore from Jamestown are part of our line that too is erroroneous. Martha Sizemore came over in 1611 on the Ship with Sir Thomas Dale and Rev. Mr. Alexander Whitaker. She was the housekeeper for the Reverand and lived in his home continuously. She travelled back and forth between the Colony and England on her own without escort and on her own money. She also went to Court twice. The first time in regards to an accusation of the Estate of Whitaker owing Corn to George Yeardley who was Governor of the Colony at the time in 1617. The second time was a Court Case for slander against the Ship Captain John Martin who called her a "Whore" because of her habit of travelling by herself back and forth between Colony and England in 1620. Now, she was still living at the home of the former Minister Alexander Whitaker in 1620 as he had died in 1617 from drowning in the James River while trying to cross it. She was never addressed as a Mrs., Madam, or any other form that would indicate a married woman. In 1622 the Massacre took place and 1624/25 a census took place that listed all the survivors. If people pay attention to it they will notice that Martha Sizemore is listed above William Sizemore not below. She is listed as her own head of household. And if you also note with other men who had wives they indicated by saying "wife" then her name with children following. They were not married there is no record here or in England of Martha Sizemore or William Sizemore having married one another nor is there any record of children between them.

Also, William Sizemore didn't arrive in the Jamestown Colony until late 1615 or early 1616 as proven by the fact that in 1619 he received his 100 acres from Sir Thomas Dale as an Ancient Planter after being here in Jamestown working the land for the required 3 years. Martha had been here since 1611 a full 5 years longer than William. No, man who was married ever let his wife come before him to the colonies. There is also no proof that Martha was taken captive by the Powhatan Indians and gave birth to a child. So, her being the progenitress of the Sizemore Indian line is just as ludicrous as trying to say Edward Old Ned and Rachel are.

I do have source and citations for all that I have said.
