Does anyone have a source for the birthplace? I think it is unlikely to be Parow (W. Cape) as the family lived in Aberdeen, E.Cape.
(Perhaps it was a different Maria who was born in Parow?)
Any information would be appreciated.

I have found Maria's baptism, and she was definitely baptised in Aberdeen not Parow.
