While searching the Neville line for surname matches I found this dna signature. Then while searching for Bruce dna matches I found the same signature. Both Bruce and Neville are found in the Percy of Northumberland tree several times over. All three lines lead back to Rollo who is the common ancestor for many Neville, Bruce and Percy lines. Matches were for common ancestor; Robert the Bruce King of Scott's; backwards to Rollo, Ralph Neville 1st Baron Neville de Raby; backwards to Rollo.
The ending point on the centimorgan signature is very specific. Your match must end exactly at that point. Most matches for Bruce and Neville start at the 20668638 location but people with modern day Bruce or Neville in their tree will have a longer stretch of this dna signature with the starting point to the left 20668638 of the dna signature.
The end location must end precisely at 21368250.!!
DNA SIGNATURE (Believed to relate to the descendants of Rollo who are Neville, Bruce, Brus, Percy). Even though some trees have only one of these surnames and not all of them, it was found they carry the same signature.
