I cannot add a child to the timeline, I think because I do not manage that profile ?

Shaz - you can't directly.

You need to re-retrieve the event from a profile. The fact that 'show' is part of the url shows that it has been disconnected from the profile. It is the profile that determines whether you can update it.

There are quite a few more quirks with events. Basically it seems that Geni cannot handle the many-to-many situation in database relationships. I suspect that this is part of the overall architecture and probably cannot be corrected.
