Sharon I am so busy with sorting out the Swanepoel helping Charmaine Carstens and Pieter Johannes Taljaard searhcing for estates that I can not believe what I am seeing here.
There are a lot of sources but I suppose it was before marking.
I do see one of them is that of Jaco Strauss and t\the Sorenson institude.
I am going to take it away as MP until solved.

Dear Sharon, Bernard and (let on the spelling) BARTHELEMI was brothers. Their parents were Leonard Faucher and Narde de Villegauleys. Leonard's family came to South Africa while Barthelemi's went to Cacada. My email is herbstwillem@hotmail.com. Willem
Hello Willem Jacobus ,as the info and the records say Barthelemy and wife never came in Nouvelle-france (Canada) its the son Leonard Faucher dit Saint Maurice that came in Nouvelle-france
when we looking at this we look at french Canadian records and europe france and til now i have not see Bernard name and wife
Private, I'm not seeing any sources.
The Source given on the (supposed) fatherLéonard Faucher dit Saint-Maurice on Geni says specifically that "it seems they had only one child: Barthélemy FAUCHIER"

Without any other proof, Martin is correct that we need to disconnect it.
If anyone finds sources, please post here, and we'll reconnect.
I tried to find some sources but only found this. It's in French and I can't understand much of it. Maybe it will mean something to you Martin RhNegativ
