Does anyone have any connection or information about the siblings of Sime Bruche Helfer, born 10/9/1880 in Brody, Poland? I have reached a "brick wall" on this line of my research. Her parents were Judith Helfer and Aron Zinkower also from Brody, Poland, however I have not been able to unearth any information from any of the archives regarding the birth of Sime Bruche Helfer (my paternal grandmother), not any of her siblings. My grandmother emigrated with her husband (Salomon Wolf Wilder) and 3 children to Vienna, Austria in 1913, and I am sure that some of her relatives must have emigrated there as well. So far I have not been able to find out any more from the IKG Wien about any possible siblings who might have been living in Vienna, Austria between 1913 and 1942. I have a family picture that was taken in Vienna, Austria prior to my grandfather's death, showing two women who I have yet to identify. I am sure that they must be related to my family in some way. I will be glad to provide a copy of this photo if asked. My grandmother as well as her daughter and son-in-law were deported by the Nazis in 1942 from Vienna to Maly Trostinec, where they were murdered. Any assistance in furthering my Helfer research is most appreciated.
