Is there any way that we can turn off the pesky notifications that we keep getting from the My Heritage site? I know that they own Genie and that there is a .1% chance that that they might have useful information in them but 99% of the time it is just giving me info that I had found and some person has taken from me. They are only spreading false hope that someone else has found new info on my family.

Even if we could add an ignore button to the post after we have looked at it so the same info doesn't keep popping up all the time.

https://www.geni.com/account_settings/notifications - the check-boxes are toggles - so just click to unmark the box for the notifications being sent that you do not want sent, then click "Save Changes"

Thanks Lois but that is only for email notifications. I want to turn off the pesky notifications that litter my tree from the My Heritage site. Or at least remove them after I have looked at them.

Do not believe there is any way to turn off the notifications on your tree.
On the other hand, matches I reject do seem to disappear for good.
Or maybe I just have not noticed if they reappear -- generally do not bother unless it is a Geni Tree Match (that's the ones in the first box - the blue box) and it is definitely wrong (then I may).
