Other family trees state that Bettie Joe was born in Springfield MO but the Census documents of her family put her birth in Arkansas. Her father was a carpenter and during the depression they moved around. They were in Anderson, Monroe Co. Indiana in 1930 but back in Greene Co. Missouri by 1940.
Does anyone have any proof that she was born in Missouri or Arkansas?
