I was searching For David Smith. Here there is my family story that I discovered.
My grandfather (GF) was Folik Smetana (1877 DOB).
He was from Fanow (Yanov), Vinnitsa Oblast . He came to visit his brother David Smith in June 21st, 1911 (record on Ellis Island web) Passenger ID 101149130104 . David Smith got him ticket for this trip. My GF was staying in his (David) house: 511Federal street, Philadelphia, PA.
My GF was in USA some period, than he left - I think to pick up my GM with kids. But it never happen. They was killed in 1942 when Germans bombed Fanow.
I am trying to find my ancestors from Smith family.
