Depending on what message you sent him he could have just classified your message as a spam/phishing attempt.

Personally I always ignore messages from people who just want to be contacted by mail because they have something important to ask about or tell, especially if it comes from a new user without any any personal tree.

Hi there, Thank you so much for your message. I am new at this and it is mostly difficult trying to track my possible family, because unfortunately I never asked many questions when my Dad was alive. From the Military records I managed to get that something was left to Laila Domingo who has apparently passed on, who was family of David Allen. I would really appreciate if anyone who knew them could leave a message for me.

Trying to get some details on Dave Allen who we think was a Mayet related to Laila Domingo. However w were told he dropped his surname, actually not sure. We have not been able to make any other links with him. My grandmother had Laila "Lily" Domingo name and date of birth in her birthday book.
