Jesse Nichols, Sr. - Half brother?? of Jesse Nichols, Sr.

I just now noticed this mention of a half brother of Jesse. Never found this before. Where did this fact come from--who are his parents if not John and Mary OWEN NICHOLS?

And where has it been stated Mary OWEN's middle name is "Ann"? I've never come across that either.

There is so much on this tree that I don't recognize it. And very little proof. Makes me leery of the whole thing. I wish we'd all just add people to the tree if we KNOW with PROVEN facts that the really belong on the tree. Wa-a-y too much copying without verification. Makes me sad and makes the tree rather worthless. Sorry to crab about it, but I like FACTS not guesses,
