@Thomas Willson I've been trying to find information on the parents -- especially the father -- of the first Dr. Thomas Willson of Maryland (Dr. Thomas Willson -> Dr. Thomas Bennett Willson --> Dr. Thomas Willson III). Some Maryland sources mention a John Willson who was the original emigre from Scotland, but I've found nothing specific. Those sources suggest John was also a medical doctor ("chirurgeon") from Edinburgh, Scotland. Any reliable resources would be much appreciated!
