Also note that Smartcopy is only advantageous for Pro members. A note in the discussion listed above - "Since a Basic user can't add or update the 'surrounding' family via the API, there is not a lot of advantage to using SmartCopy without a Pro Geni membership.".
You can't use it to copy family members.
