Bogaert in Colchester

Hi
I am currently involved in updating some data about the Bogaert families of New York (Uytenbogaert etc.) It seems possible that a few un- identified Bogaerts originated from the several Bogaerts in Colchester in the mid 1600s. I have not found any earlier study on this possibility, all older publications refer to all Bogaerts coming directly from Netherland to New Amsterdam. If I find time I will collect the Bogaert data from Colchester. Any input?
