Edward (emigrant) Hilton b. 1598, d. 1671, father of Mary Scribner b. Hilton 1639

To Manager Paul Hilton of the Hilton family tree:
I am Richard Lee Mudgett, manager of the Richard Lee Mudgett Family Tree and looking for information on Edward Hilton i.e. when did he come to the U.S. etc.. In just finished the book "Pilgrimage of Grace" about Henry IIIV, Cromwell and the Northern Revolt. The Hiltons, Lumleys, Metcalfes etc. (our relaitives) were mixed up in the revolt and lost----big. I can't find any info. on Edward and why he left GB.
