Briceni surnames from the 19th century

I have uploaded a new document, BriceniRevListSurnames.PDF, or "Surnames in the 1824 & 1859 revision lists for Briceni (Brichany, Britshan), Bessarabia," from information extracted by Bessarabia SIG (www.http://www.jewishgen.org/Bessarabia).

Residents of Briceni recorded in Russian revision lists for those years can be searched in the JewishGen Romania & Moldova Database (http://www.jewishgen.org/databases/Romania).

The list can be helpful in finding a name that does not show up in search results because of an unexpected spelling variation that was not caught by the various filtering options -- phonetic, sounds like, fuzzy, etc. Also, by browsing the list you may find a familiar family name that you had not thought of researching in Briceni.
