Ricarda Miranda, 88, of San Angelo passed away on Monday, November 17, 2008.
A Rosary will be read at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, in the "Remembrance Chapel" of Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North. Mass of the Resurrection will be on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church. Mrs. Miranda will be carried to her place of rest in Calvary Catholic Cemetery by pallbearers Eric Valles, James Valles Jr., Phillip Valles, Sammy Gaitan Jr, Chris Gaitan, and Edward Cervantez. Services have been entrusted to the Arnoldo Gutierrez Family.
Mrs. Miranda was born in San Angelo on April 3, 1920. Mrs.Miranda was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Ellen Hornsley.
Survivors include sons; Sam Gaitan and wife Yolanda, Adam Gaitan, Roy Gaitan and Joe Gaitan all of San Angelo, daughters; Jackie Dawson and husband Charles , Eva Valles and husband James Sr , Cassandra Garcia - Mendoz of San Angelo and Margo Bellinger and husband Jeff of California. She was also survived by 21 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
