E. Cokayne's ''The Complete Baronetage'' (volume 1, Throckmorton of Tortworth) - conflicts with the posted ancestry of this Thomas. Furthermore, Stirnet's owner points out on "Throckmorton01" that "There is some uncertainty with these early generations." "Throckmorton01" shows Thomas' son John as the earliest accurately documented family member in the Throckmorton/Throgmorton pedigree.

The English Baronetage Containing a Genealogical and Historical ..., Volume 2, page 351, quoting Dugdale, and other resources, say of the two sons Giles and John, that John was the eldest, and was enfoeffed of Throckmorton in 1339. Do other resources claim someone else at this date? Do you know how to check this date of enfoeffment? Thanks.
