Might she also have been known as Margaret? The 1930 census for the household of John Patrick Quinn lists a daughter of about the same age named "Margaret S."

It's possible, but could that be a daughter who didn't survive? I got this info from a document compiled by Gail Marie Barrett Kauffmann (Private User) and her sister Martina Jean Strouble (Martina Jean Strouble) laying out everything they know about the Quinns. Some of their info could be wrong. For example, for my grandparents, they say "James Herman (b. about 1925) who married Sally Gerard." There's no "Gerard" in her name.

Where did you get the date of birth? I don't think I added that. If I did, I don't know where I would have gotten it.

I don't think it was a different child. Based on birth years in the censuses, Mary Louise should have appeared in the 1930 census as a different child then. Since there's only one daughter of that age, I think they're the same person.
