My maternal grand mother was called Rachel Sagina. She was borne in the year 1903 and died in the year 1980. I remember grandma always looking happy. She smiled most of the time. She had a laughter that reverberated around. She loved people, and was mostly in the kitchen preparing meals for the many visitors to her home.Grandma especially loved her grand children. She talked a lot with them. I used to always look forward to spending some of my holidays with grandma.
Grandma had 7 children. The boys were Simion, Meshack, Phillip and Boaz. The girls were Dinah, Ruth and Terry.
