Please provide documentation that Isabella and Martha were twins. According to family history and the Ferry family scrapbook, the only set of twins was Sarah and Thomas born prematurely in 1882 and died within days. Martha Marion is registered as being born in 1878, with nothing more noted about her. There is no record of Isabella being born, but her death is registered as 1880, and as noted on the headstone in the photo I added, she was 2 years old. It is likely that her name was changed after it was registered. I also spoke with the Sexton from the Wanganui cemetery and the records show the burials in this plot of being parents, Thomas and Sarah Ferry, their daughter Isabel, the twins, Thomas and Sarah (although not marked on the headstone) and Thomas's parents, John and Isabella and his brother John Ferry. Nowhere in our family history or in the cemetery records is there a mention of Martha. I have tried to delete her at the insistence of an older cousin who keeps all the family records.

I am a Geni Curator, I got involved in this part of the tree when Private User requested that Isabella Marion Ferry be fixed because that profile was deleted and she was unable to undelete it..we got Geni customer service for assistance to fix it.

It all started in this part of a discussion http://www.geni.com/discussions/142108?msg=1026864

Thank you. I understand that Martha is listed on the birth index, but as I have explained, according to the documented family history, there was only and Isabel Marion. There is also a book written about the history of the Wanganui Opera house which mentions the children and does not account for a Martha. Although I have created the tree, I have family members who confirm what I say. We have no record of a Martha in the family.
