According to Tanya A. Stewart-Moch-Davis, she claims that part of her family is related to Gov. William Clark of Lewis & Clark Fame. If this is true, then it is possible that "William Preston Clark 1811-1840" is correct, meanwhile... William A. Clark side has lines going to "The Dean Family", in which her Grandmother, Celia Dean-Kirby might line up with these Deans. If so, then it might confirm William A. and not William P. as her Great+ Grandfather... but already I have found some errors on her Great Grandfather, Harry Clark Stewart and made the needed corrections already. Her Putnam family lines seem correct.
