Hi,
My very likely third grandfather Simon Weiszberg(er) was listed as an innkeeper in his death record from 1872.
From what I see the main road between Krasny Brod (and Medzilaborce, etc.) and Stropkov would have been a likely place for inns for travelers between the two towns. For people walking this route not very quickly etc and not leaving first thing in the morning, it would seem that a trip towards the east might land one around Mala Polana in the early evening. Is it likely that Simon's inn would have been there on the main road or in Mikova? Are there any records that could help with this?
(Also I am nearly certain that Simon is the one listed in the 1869 Census as married to Sita Groszman, of which I've only see the JewishGen indexed version -- I've been in touch with Judith Bennett).
