Daniel M. Stauffer - Birth

I see that birth date has been changed to March 16, 1728. There is clearly something wrong with our information. Daniel's eldest son Abraham was born in 1734 when Daniel was only 6 years old while his second oldest child was born many years later.

Probably there was an incorrect merger somewhere. I won't be spending much time looking at it right now because I'll be very busy for the next few months. If you can make sense of this part of the Stauffer family let me know.

Oh yes I do see that took!

I looked around a bit at some other trees and found some others with similar dates of birth and death and it looks like something happened with either the wrong people being merged or perhaps wrong data being imported in years ago I bet.

I also found some others that needed to be merged together...some had some slightly different spelling variations that didn't jump out as easily before.

I think it's a little better now...Little by little... You can sit here all day sometimes finding dupes that should be merged..

There is a lot of good info out there other places that and certainly could be correct based on someone's real research....It would be nice to get some actual sources of this stuff noted someday... Now on to cleaning up what everybody copied into their own individual tree years ago before the idea of a world family tree was really possible and then added into Geni years ago leaving variations here and there....
