Thomas Shaffner Well known Man Passes Awayand respected resident of Shelby county,died at his home in Washington township Sunday Afternoon at 3:30 o'clock after
an Extended illness.
The Deceased was Born in Crawford county,December 22,1857,But had spent practically all his life as a resident of Shelby County in the vicinity of Port Jefferson for many years.
His Wife died Thirty years ago . and the following children survive him: Delmar,at home Ernest at near Port Jefferson,Covert of Washington township and Fred of Perry Township and Forest Berry and a daughter deceased Chloe BEATRICE SCHULTZ,Quincy
Six brothers also suevive him William of Logan co. Milo
oF Port Jeffner,Joshua Of Clinton Township,George Of Port Jefferson,Daniel of Sidney and Jacob Of Urbana.
Funeral Servives Wednesday Afternoon at 2 O'Clock at the Port Jefferson M.E.Church.Buiral at Glen Cemetery.
