Tanya Rivero

Hey guys,
This is less of a priority than Kelly and Michael.
But Wall Street Journal TV is doing a segment on the Global Family Reunion and collaborative genealogy.
The anchor wonders if she can be connected to the Big Tree.
Her name is Tanya Rivero.

I asked her for some info. But I can go back to her if this isn't enough.
The interview isn't till June 2, but they were hoping to get connected by next Friday so they could prepare graphics.

I don’t have birth dates of my grandparents sadly, but here’s what I know:

My dad: He was born into a homogenous Mennonite community in upstate New York to Esther Zimmerman and Andrew Gingerich. Their people came to New York State via Canada, but all originated in the German Alsace Lorraine region. I am pretty sure they were all simple farmers for generations…

My mother is Cuban, so more of a mix: Her mother was Luisa Rivero (her people came from the Canary Islands of Spain, I’ve been told) and her father Adolfo Camacho (his ancestors also came from the Canary Islands I’ve been told. ) But they lived in Cuba for a few generations… a Rivero ancestor fought in the War for Cuban Independence (but sadly, on the wrong side, he fought for Spain :( )
