I am a descendent of Ellen ROBERTSON, who was the daughter of Ann BYRES (1818-1894) and James ROBERTSON (1812-1887). James ROBERTSON was the son of William ROBERTSON and Margaret MILNE.
Ann BYRES was the daughter of William BYRES (1792-1846) and Jean HAY (1790- ). William and Jean married on 26 November, 1815 at Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
William BYRES was the son of James BYRES (abt 1770- ) and Agnes HENDRY who married on 18 Jun 1791 in Cruden, Aberdeen, SCT.
James ROBERTSON and his family moved to Tasmania, Australia in the late 1840s.
