Alina Kondek -Tuchowska (zd. Kondek)
Jan Kanty Kieres was born 1857 in Krakow Poland and died 1818 in Wienn, Austria. My gradfather descendant was Stanislaw Kieres born 1860. Two brothers come to Olkusz, Isztwan and Edgar Keresz (Hungarien - their surnames were changed to Kieres) and one of them married in III Zurada near County Olkusz, the other in Olkusz Poland. My grandfather Jozef Kieres was the next generation of those brothers. My grandmother Jozefa Kieres (zd. Solecka was the lucky bride. She lived with her Husband in III Zurada and have 2 sons Jan Kieres and Boleslaw Kieres and 3 daughters; Anna, Cecylia, the younger daughter died of pertussis, when she was small girl. Before the II Work War there was no antybiotic to treat pertussis, very severe cough, often lethal to small children. I am the fifth generation from Stanislaw Kieres.
