According to family conversation, his mother was full blood Cherokee. We have been unable to find his parents at all. Apparently they were born in Ga. per the census. Does anyone have any ideas of how to track down someone like this. Apparently has no middle name. Moved to Texas and was in the Civil war as a blacksmith. Later was known as Pearson.
