Yesterday was the 19th anniversary of my mother's death. So looking forward to being with her again when she's resurrected. Adam may have sold us into sin, but Jesus died to buy us out of it (John 3:16). The value of His sacrifice hasn't been applied to humankind yet, but it will be under God's Kingdom, which is soon to come (Matthew 6:9, 10).
Romans 6:23 says "For the wages sin pays is death but the gift God gives us everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord. " My mother has paid for her sins already, so the question is: WILL I - WILL YOU - be here to greet her when she is resurrected? A study of the Bible will assist you to know what the requirements are to be able do so. Jehovah's Witnesses will be happy to conduct a study of the Bible with you - free of charge and in the convenience of your own home.
On April 3rd, after Sundown, Jehovah's Witnesses around the world and others (almost 20 million last year) will be gathering to observe The Memorial of Christ's Death in obedience to His command at Luke 22:19,20: "Keep doing this in remembrance of me."
