That's a good question. The second link seems to indicate the photo is of Yuri Gagarin, not Matov Lenin.

Have you tried to message the profile manager directly?

This is yet another case of a match being found in MyHeritage and then blindly copying it to Geni. The entire profile is probably bogus.

Although not used in this case, I'm wondering if SmartCopy encourages quantity over quality as Geni races towards one million profiles. When transferred manually you are confronted with each and every fact in turn.

In all cases where I've found a match in MyHeritage, no source or provenance has been provided - ever - so it simply gives a hint to investigate further.
