He was born in 1872 in Baghdad
His parents were Walter John POWELL and Nitrocris Susan HOLLAND
The family came back to Glouestershire,England
He was a passenger on the ship' ADRATICas at the age of 17 years
He arrived in New York,New York in 1889 .He enlisted in the 4th calavary,E and was discharged ,he was on 31/7/1898.
He was the rank of sergeant .
Before he enlisted in the calvary he was a farmer,
He married MARY BOWEN HOOPER[1888-1972]
I N 1930 both him and Mary were living Talbot, in Maryland. In 1940 they had moved to Ballyhooly in TALBOT CITY,MARYLAND
In 1960 he died in San Diego, California,at this point Mary is still alive at the time of his death.
I would like to know please if they had any children at all and if so where are they.
It is said that he had a brother name Charles Powell[1875-1911]
