Only recently I became aware that my mother's first husband was one of Schindler's Jews. He died only a week before the liberation of Bruenlitz camp in Poland and the puzzle my mother in her lifetime (she died 1984) couldn't solve how someone could stay alive in that slave camp for so long is now solved.
However, I see there is no Project "Schindler's list" here on Geni.
Shouldn't there be one?
Jack Marcel Klaber We do have a Schindler themed project.

Please take a look, and see if it suits the objectives you have in mind, or if you want to edit, revise it, or create an additional Umbrella Project.
Hi Malka Mysels,
The project is more related to the Film of Spielberg.
One of the reasons I became only recently aware my mother's first husband was a "Schindler's Jew" is the fact that a Google search for his correct name (Pollack) does not result in a hit that brings one to the actual list. Only a search for "Pollak" shows hits on the Schindler list. However, Pollak is mostly the Dutch way of writing Pollack although he was a German Jew from Frankfurt, escaped with his parents and siblings to Amsterdam early on.....
I'll see if I can put all names of the list with URL links to their source file.
Then I think it would be interested to invite Geni and MyHeritage users to link their relatives who were "Schindler's Jews".....
