Served in the Navy in WW 1.
Owned and operated a cattle ranch outside of Ft. Worth. Where?
Worked for the post office.
Lived into his 90's. It has been said that George was descendant from the first anglos settlers brought into Texas by Stephen Austin. They came to be know as "the 300 old men".
I (Johnny Robinson) remember as a child being shown a parchment paper at George & Bertha's house with Stephen F Austin's signature on it and I was told it was a land grant.
When Bertha Robinson died Francis and Maxine Robinson donated a lot of historic materials to the Forth Worth Historical Society.
